The smallest line on this site, and deliberately so
Most agencies open a dealer pitch by offering to rebuild your website. For the majority of stores reading this, that offer is unbuildable, because the site belongs to a platform the OEM mandated and nobody is rebuilding anything.
So this page exists mainly to tell you when website work is worth buying and when it is not, which for a service we sell is an unusual position to take and the correct one.
If you own your site, this is genuinely valuable and cheap. If you do not, buy the SEO program instead and put the money where it can actually move.

How the work runs
- 01 Market reviewYour store, your competitors, and what search actually looks like in your market.
- 02 Keyword analysisThe terms that carry buying intent for your brands, models, locations and service drive.
- 03 On-page checksWhat your platform is doing to your inventory pages, and which of it can be changed.
- 04 Authority buildReal placements on real domains, every one delivered as a live URL you can click.
- 05 Report and refinePlain English every month. What went live, what moved, what happens next.
What a build includes
- Crawlable inventory pathsReal, linkable URLs for stock rather than a JavaScript filter that search cannot see. This alone is worth more than the visual design on most dealer sites.
- A sold-unit policy built in from day oneRetirement handled properly at the start, rather than discovered as a problem two years later when the index is full of cars that are gone.
- Separate treatment for SRP and VDPBrowse pages that are stable and rankable, detail pages that are fast to crawl and clean to retire. Two jobs, two structures.
- Room for content that is not inventorySomewhere for model research, financing, trade and service pages to live, because on most dealer sites there is currently nowhere to put them.
- Service and parts as first-class pagesNot a phone number at the bottom of the contact page. Fixed ops carries better margin and less competition, and it deserves real pages.
- Speed and mobile as a requirementYour buyers are on phones on a lot with poor reception. A site that is slow there is a site that loses them there.
When website work is worth it, and when it is not
Buy it if you own your site and control your hosting. That is most independents, most buy-here-pay-here lots and most specialty dealers, and for those stores the technical foundation is the difference between an SEO program that works and one that fights the site the whole way.
Buy it as a microsite if you are on a mandated platform but want somewhere you actually control. A separate site for your service department, a model research hub, or a campaign landing page can sit alongside the platform without breaking anything, and you own it.
Do not buy it if your OEM controls your domain and your platform, and you were hoping this would get around that. It will not. A second site does not inherit the first one's authority, and splitting effort across two domains usually leaves you weaker on both.
Do not buy it if the real problem is that nothing credible points at your site. A new site with the same authority profile ranks the same as the old one. That is an uncomfortable thing for an agency to say on a page selling websites, and it is true.
A new site with the same authority ranks exactly like the old one.
Why $400 and not $40,000
Dealer website quotes are frequently enormous, and the size usually reflects inventory integration, DMS connections, compliance requirements and an ongoing platform license rather than the pages themselves.
This is not that product. It is an SEO-ready site, built properly, for a store that owns its domain and wants a foundation that does not undermine the rest of the program. It does not replace a full dealer platform with live DMS integration and it does not pretend to.
Where inventory does need to be integrated, that is quoted separately once we have seen what your feed actually looks like, because the honest answer varies enormously between a clean feed and one that needs rebuilding.
The reason this line is priced at $400 rather than being the centerpiece of the site is that for most of the stores reading it, it is not the thing that will move their numbers. Saying so costs us a little revenue and saves you a lot.
Questions about this service
How much does a dealership website cost?
This one starts at $400 one time and is quoted properly after we look at your current site and platform. What pushes it up is page count, inventory integration and hosting constraints. It is not a replacement for a full dealer platform with live DMS integration.
Can you rebuild our OEM platform site?
No, and neither can anyone else. That site belongs to your platform provider under an arrangement your manufacturer set up. Any agency offering to rebuild it has not worked with a franchise store.
Is a microsite a good idea?
Sometimes. It works well for a service department or a model research hub where you want control the platform will not give you. It works badly as an attempt to escape the platform entirely, because a second domain starts with no authority and splits your effort.
Will a new site improve our rankings on its own?
Usually not much. A rebuild fixes crawlability and structure, which removes obstacles. It does not add authority, and authority is what decides most competitive automotive results. Expect a foundation, not a result.
Who owns the domain and the code at the end of it?
You do, both of them, from the first day. We build on hosting you control and hand over every file. A vendor that holds your domain is a vendor you cannot leave, and month to month means very little if walking away costs you your web address.
Do you handle hosting?
We build it to run on hosting you control. We do not want to own your domain or your hosting, because a vendor holding those is a vendor you cannot leave, and month to month means nothing if you cannot actually walk away.
What if we own our site but it was built years ago?
That is the most common case for independents, and a rebuild is often genuinely worth it. The test is whether inventory has real, linkable URLs and whether sold units retire cleanly. If both are broken at the template level, fixing them piecemeal usually costs more than starting again.
Can you integrate our inventory feed?
Usually, and it is quoted separately once we have seen the feed. Clean feeds are straightforward. Feeds that need normalizing before anything can consume them are a larger piece of work and we will say so before starting.
What makes this different from the last pitch you got
- Every link arrives as a live URLNot a summary, not a count. A list you can click. Most competitors report link building in vague totals, and it is the single clearest difference between this and the rest of your vendor inbox.
- You own the assets foreverEvery placement and every property stays yours whether you continue with us or cancel next month. Nothing is rented and nothing gets switched off when an invoice stops.
- Month to month, setup waivedNo contract, no term, no onboarding fee on any tier. If a month is not worth paying for, do not pay for it.
- No ranking guaranteesWe do not guarantee rankings and we will not pretend to. Nobody controls the results page. We commit to the work, the deliverables and the reporting, which are the parts we do control.
- Plain English reportingWhat went live, where, what moved, what happens next month. Written to be read by someone who has a store to run.
- Since 2009, and a dedicated account managerUltra SEO Solutions has served more than 15,000 clients and promoted more than 28,500 websites, at 94 percent client retention. Every tier here includes a named account manager, not a shared queue.
